After the Super Bowl

The 50th NFL final is now behind us. It was already my third live finale. Although calories do not count on Super Bowl Sunday, we did not have many beers, chips or burgers, as we opted for rice crackers with salsa and guacamole, salad and chicken curry over rice pilaf. 🙂

Every time I see something new that draws my attention. This time it was the referee explaining to the teams and the audience (also the one gathered in front of the TV) the nature of the penalty his was calling. One such was “Unsportsmanlike Conduct,” where one of the players rudely confronted one of the opponents.

This year’s Super Bowl Champions were Denver Broncos, the same ones who lost to the Seattle Seahawks two years ago, and according to Dean, the Broncos’ victory was really deserved.

We also watched the Halftime Show and of course some commercials. I found them less witty than usual. I noticed that there were fewer ones advertising cars or technology. By the way, let me add that in the United States I often see ads in which the characters play with their food. They even throw it on the ground. I do not know whether these advertisements are shown in other countries. From what I remember far less often.

Just like last year, we saw animals in the commercials. Mostly dogs (puppies) and horses. Often speaking with a human voice.

I attach a couple of videos, which somehow stuck in my memory.

À la prochaine!

Ps. There were also singing sheeps!

Casual ultrasound gone wrong!

And a very sweet Babies Super Bowl video:
