Happy Easter from Napa Valley!

I  wish you a Happy Easter, straight from Napa Valley, popular for its Californian wineries. They reminded me of the time spent studying abroad in Southern France. This time we did not taste any wine, but we did spend a nice day in the city named St Helena..

Before today’s trip we had a festive breakfast at home. We ate the traditional vegatable salad and a sweet bread from the Italian deli. Of course we decorated a few eggs, called pisanki.

Tomorrow in the USA there is no Holiday, but for sure we will let Rosie experience her first Śmigus Dyngus!

On Saturday we attended a Spring Fair organized by nearby Albany Preschool.

This year Rosie was still too small for the Egghunt.

But she did meet the Easter Bunny!

Before the trip we ate the traditional Easter Sunday breakfast. We tried our best!:)

In California the trains serve more as a tourist attraction, than a means of transport.

A lot of boutiques were closed today, but some places were offering Easter Sunday breakfast all-day.
